“Lost beneath the Sea”

In "Lost beneath the Sea," Scrooge McDuck and Donald Duck dive into the deep with a bathysphere to recover Scrooge's Old Number One Dime, only to stumble upon a hidden undersea shipyard run by four-armed Martians salvaging sunken ships for their iron-poor world. Written and illustrated by Carl Barks, with lettering by Garé Barks and coloring by the Western Publishing Production Shop, this tale blends underwater adventure with interplanetary mystery in a story that’s as rich in detail as it is in wonder. The cover by Carl Barks captures the eerie beauty of the deep-sea discovery.
