In "Die schrumpfende Stadt," Superman and Batman face a bizarre threat when their costumes are contaminated by a Green Kryptonite explosion in the Fortress of Solitude. With Batman unwittingly manipulated by the cunning mind of Gorilla Boss Dyke, a dangerous entity emerges—one that feeds on chlorophyll and threatens Earth’s very ecosystems. Written by Bob Haney and brought to life by George Tuska’s art with inks by Vince Colletta and colors by Jerry Serpe, this 1979 tale from Egmont Ehapa features a cover by Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano.
