Lex Luthor uses every method available to him to learn the connection between Clark Kent and Superman, including drugging Ma and Pa Kent and torturing Lana Lang. The computer calculates that Clark Kent is Superman, which Lex feels is illogical, and so he has the computer data deleted and Amanda McCoy is fired.
