Supermouse #29

In "The Big Cheese," Supermouse attempts to stop the villain Terrible Tom and his sidekick Soupy from committing crimes, but they manage to elude him by sending wrong signals that cause the authorities to pursue the wrong suspects. When Supermouse catches up to them, they escape on a boat heading to sea. Terrible Tom attempts to scare Supermouse away by conjuring ghosts in a cemetery and later at a haunted mansion, but Supermouse sees through the deception. The story culminates when Supermouse retrieves a piece of cheese that had fallen into the ocean and encounters a kangaroo who becomes his ally in pursuing Terrible Tom across the high seas.
