"Our Murder Want!" features Marc Carlyle, described as the smartest criminal lawyer in the country, who knows what he is doing when he goes forth to murder. The story depicts Carlyle's criminal schemes involving counterfeiters and a half-million dollar operation, with a subplot involving characters named Joe and Bugs at a movie theatre projector. Another story, "The Projector," shows Joe, a reformed ex-con who has become a movie projectionist, being caught up in a scheme involving criminal associates and ultimately electrocuted through sabotage of theatre equipment. A third story involves Vito and Studs attempting to acquire a formula worth fifty thousand dollars to sell to Europe, sailing aboard a steamer in a scheme that goes awry when they attempt to double-cross their partner.
