After the dust settles, the Marauder rises from the wreckage and slowly removes his mask, leaving Team America stunned. Written by Jim Shooter and Tom DeFalco, with dynamic art by Dave Simons and colors by Christie Scheele, this 1983 Marvel classic features a cover by Simons that captures the moment’s intensity.

Team America compete in a race in Oklahoma, watched by Johnny Blaze and Red Fowler. Ghost Rider joins the race to go up against the mysterious Marauder, and the two battle while the race finishes. The forces of Hydra attack to gain revenge on Team America, and just as Wolf is about to be shot, the Marauder turns his back on Ghost Rider to save Wolf, getting himself blasted with hellfire in the process. After the battle is finished, the Marauder rises from the rubble and slowly removes his mask, revealing his face to the shocked members of Team America.
