Terminator 2: Infinity #1

Dynamite Entertainment launches this 2007 series with a cover that commands immediate attention — a battle-scarred T-800 endoskeleton stares out with glowing red eyes, its chrome skull half-stripped of charred flesh and wreathed in roaring flames. Pat Lee's painted-style cover work gives the machine an unsettling presence, equal parts grotesque and coldly mechanical. With Simon Furman scripting and Nigel Raynor on interior art, Terminator 2: Infinity #1 looks like a confident, hard-edged addition to the franchise's comics legacy.
