The Amazing Spider-Man #224
In "Let Fly These Aged Wings!", the Vulture—Adrian Toomes—rises from despair after meeting Nathan Lubensky, May Parker’s wheelchair-bound boyfriend, sparking a dangerous resurgence. When Peter Parker visits his aunt, he uncovers Toomes’ return to crime hidden within the very nursing home where Nathan is recovering. Roger Stern’s storytelling, brought to life by John Romita Jr.’s dynamic art and Pablo Marcos’ precise inks, delivers a tense, grounded confrontation that puts Spider-Man’s instincts to the test. The cover by John Romita Jr. and Ed Hannigan, inked by Bob Layton, captures the moment of revelation with striking intensity.
