Spider-Man returns to investigate a man he saved from Hydra who just happens to be the current leader of the organization. He discovers a vast underground complex under the man's house and dons a Hydra costume to infiltrate the base. Spider-Man learns that Hydra is planning on polluting an important Midwest water supply and takes off to warn his fellow Avengers. Unfortunately, Hydra's own super powered Avengers look alikes stand in his way.
