After a near chance meeting between the two groups, Planetary decides to break into the Authority's headquarters to download the information stored there. Meanwhile, the Authority investigates the caves of the Adirondacks where Doc Brass' multiverse computer resides. When a corrupt technician turns it on, earth is invaded by marauding robots. The two groups unknowingly work together to defeat the menace.
