The Incredible Hulk #112
In "The Brute Battles On!", the Hulk is thrust into a cosmic conflict when enslaved aliens join his fight against the tyrannical Galaxy Master. Written by Stan Lee and brought to life by Herb Trimpe’s dynamic art and Dan Adkins’ sharp inks, this 1969 Marvel classic sees the green giant battling across worlds—only to face a new peril when a poorly decompressed rocket sends him hurtling back to Earth, leaving Bruce Banner stranded in his human form amid the crushing void. The cover by Herb Trimpe and Dan Adkins captures the intensity of the moment perfectly.
