The Justice Machine #7
In "Last Man on the Battlefield," the Justice Machine faces total war as the Oyabun’s superhuman forces close in. With Demon adopting his first costume and making a fateful pact with Maxinor, the team is scattered—sent to safety or across dimensions—leaving only him to stand against the onslaught. Written by Tony Isabella and brought to life with dynamic inks by Mike Gustovich, this pivotal issue sees the Oyabun meet a grim end and sets the stage for a new chapter, as the surviving Machine reunites with Blazer’s daughter, Tessei Conrad Maxinor. The cover, also by Mike Gustovich, captures the intensity of the moment.

It’s all out war as the Oyabun’s superhuman warriors try to take out the Justice Machine. Meanwhile, Demon adopts his first costume and makes a deal with Maxinor. Maxinor teleports Lt. Duvat, Diviner, Blazer, and Garrison to a U.S. hospital, then takes Youthquake back to Georwell forever. Demon then teleports Titan, Talisman and Challenger the same way, leaving only him to defeat the Oyabun’s hordes. The Oyabun himself dies horribly after being poisoned by one of his slaves. The Machine -- without Demon-- then gathers together to meet Blazer’s daughter, Tessei Conrad Maxinor.
