The rip in the continuum caused by the Next has starting causing time distortions. Superman unsuccessfully tries to fight it, but tracks it back to the Next. After a quick fight, the problem is now understood by all. While Superman deals with the effects of the time distortions, the Next try to come up with an answer. The rip also seems to have created a new entity, which is growing. And the Iron Ring's emissary arrives on Earth.
