The Order strikes at Red Raven's avian home, taking it over for their own needs and sending its people back into suspended animation. The Defenders try to determine why their friends have gone insane. Papa Hagg sends them to a mystical realm where they discover the human parts of the heroes are imprisoned. The Order arrives and the two groups battle. Again, the Defenders are defeated. Then, as the Order journeys to Alaska and stops any oil drilling there, the Avengers are called in by the U.S. government.
