"There Is NO Perfect Crime" follows two criminals, Koko and Faulker, who plan an elaborate scheme to frame an innocent man named Bigtime Harry Kord for murder while they escape. After successfully staging the crime on an old ship using an octopus to strangle their victim, Koko becomes overconfident and decides to make one final score. However, his greed leads to his downfall when he attempts to kill his partner Pete, only to be caught by an octopus arm that wraps around him, allowing Pete to escape and the police to arrive and capture him. The story concludes with the lesson that "there is no perfect crime," as Kord is eventually exonerated when the truth emerges and Koko faces justice.
