The Perfect Crime #7 is a crime anthology featuring three separate stories. "The Number of Death!" follows a criminal mastermind who plans the perfect robbery, believing he has calculated every angle, only to discover a telephone hidden in the vault that foils his scheme. "Crime Leads to the Grave!" depicts a killer named Fiero attempting to escape with stolen money after a hold-up at a fairground, but his getaway is thwarted when he falls from a roller coaster. "There Is No Perfect Crime" concludes the issue by showing how criminals Barney Nelson and Lou Mercer attempt a bank heist they think is foolproof, but are ultimately caught when police discover a phone in the vault they didn't know existed, and Nelson is hanged for the crime.
