Doctor Spider's men kidnap Jed and attach him to machinery that will extract monsters from his nightmares and release them into the world. Sandman learns of the plot from the Nightmare Wizard, but he's captured next. Brute and Glob secretly travel from the Dream Dome and free Sandman and Jed, and Doctor Spider is apparently killed in an explosion.
