When a sea monster attacks Jed and his grandfather, Sandman arrives to help them, but too late to save Ezra. Jed returns to Dolphin Island alone until his aunt and uncle come to ask him to live with them. But at their house, Jed is treated like a servant, forced to do endless chores. When he falls asleep, Sandman needs him to help against the evil Frog Men and rescue a queen who they have kidnapped.
