The Scream #2
In "I Have No Scream and I Must Mouth," reporter Sian Ferguson captures a bizarre scene: a monstrous figure battling bank robbers, only to find no such creature in her developed photos—just postal worker Daniel Duncan, frozen in fear. As Doc Angus dispatches Mort to bring Daniel back to Belle Foux sanitarium, the man’s hidden power surfaces again when he confronts bullies harassing a beloved customer, unleashing the Scream. The mystery deepens when Daniel discovers a disturbing package meant for Celeste Crain—one containing a neatly packed head. Written by Peter David and illustrated by Bart Sears, with inks by Randy Elliott, colors by Michelle Madsen, and letters by Michael David Thomas, this 2007 Dark Horse issue blends psychological tension with surreal horror, all wrapped in a cover by Bart Sears.
