Working as junk collectors, the Stooges are given an old horse and wagon. The horse gets them in trouble because it's fanatical about stamping out fires on cigarettes, birthday cakes, and Hollywood film sets. The Stooges rush to keep up and save a burning firehouse, only to learn the horse is their old mascot, "the best old fire horse ever!"
