The Uncanny X-Men #322
In "Dark Walk," the X-Men confront a series of unsettling mysteries as Charlotte leads Archangel to a crime scene where mutants are blamed for a hate-fueled massacre. Jean grapples with memories of her lost sister, Wolverine battles inner demons about his fading humanity, and the team is stunned when the Juggernaut crashes from the sky—terrified and disoriented, muttering the name Onslaught. Written by Scott Lobdell and illustrated by Tom Grummett, with inks by Dan Green, Mark Pennington, Al Milgrom, and Matthew Ryan, and colors by Steve Buccellato and Digital Chameleon, this 1995 issue captures the team at a breaking point. The cover by Joe Madureira and Tim Townsend perfectly captures the moment of Juggernaut’s descent.
