Korvus invades the X-Men's ship and defeats them to reach Rachel, but when he tries to kill her his sword forges a mental link between the two of them. Rachel disables the bomb implanted in his head and he agrees to help her. But during the fight the two Shi'ar refugees from the space station the X-Men docked at abduct Professor X.
