Issue seven of Warren Ellis and Jon Davis-Hunt's 24-part Wild Storm reinvention arrives with a cover that means business. Jon Davis-Hunt renders a sharp-suited man and a goggle-wearing woman armed with a large rifle front and center, while a red-masked figure looms at their shoulder and a helmeted young woman in technical gear occupies the foreground — all of them set against a crackling, crimson-tinged energy storm that fills the sky behind them. Steve Buccellato's coloring gives the whole scene a tense, otherworldly glow that makes this one of the more visually striking entries in the series so far.
