Thrilling Comics #37 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Fair and Warmer," a story of Hawaii by William McClellan, follows young Barry Clark, an orphan living with his father on a Hawaiian island, who outwits Japanese forces with the help of weather balloons that he uses to provide critical intelligence to the U.S. Navy. "The Ghost" features a caped hero possessing Yogi magic who uses his powers to combat Nazi machinations, including an inventor named Fenton and his time machine. The issue also includes "The Commando Cubs," another action-adventure story depicted on the cover featuring Doc Strange and military personnel in combat against enemy forces.
