“Broken Connections”

In "Broken Connections," Cooper grants Jordan telekinetic power without a contract, sparking a tense escape from a crashed vehicle and a risky return to Las Vegas. As Jordan, Cooper, and Larissa confront Angry Jenny’s violent outburst, the aftermath of her public display shatters her father Moses’ political ambitions—leaving Jordan to walk away from Supernova Solutions, leaving the team—and his new powers—unresolved. Written by John Francis Moore and illustrated by Wes Craig, with inks by Prentis Rollins, colors by Brian Haberlin and Avalon Studios, and letters by Pat Brosseau, the cover by Wes Craig and Prentis Rollins captures the moment’s raw intensity.

In order to escape from a crashed vehicle, Cooper gives Jordan power without having him sign a contract. Jordan’s new found gift of telekinesis is able to get them free from the vehicle and back to Las Vegas. Cooper, Jordan and Larissa are able to stop Angry Jenny from killing her father, Moses, but the public display by Angry Jenny puts an end to Moses’ plans to run for mayor.
