“Scourge of the Sea Serpents”

In "Scourge of the Sea Serpents," Turok and Andar venture into a mysterious cave believed to lead to Lost Valley, only to face deadly ambushes from an anklyosaurus and a sudden volcanic eruption. Trapped deep within, with Andar captured and the way out blocked, the two must rely on courage and cunning to survive. Alberto Giolitti’s dynamic artwork brings the prehistoric peril to life, while George Wilson’s cover captures the primal tension of the tale.

Seeing Turok and Andar kill a honker with poisoned arrows, primitive men pretend that a cave near them exits Lost Valley. When Turok and Andar enter they are attacked by an anklyosaurus, barely escaping with their lives. With Andar captive, Turok is forced back in, fighting the honker and coping with a volcanic eruption. As the primitives flee Andar uses a torch, burning himself, to break his bonds and help Turok. The cave offers no way out.
