The Brotherhood's plans quickly unravel once Evan puts on the Apocalypse suit and begins to use his increased power levels to cut them down. Psylocke defeats the Shadow King. Deadpool rescues Wolverine from the drowning chamber in which he was trapped and Wolverine heads out to have a final showdown with his son. Wolverine kills Daken. Evan comes close to doing the same thing to Sabretooth for making fun of the family tragedy that has just transpired but Wolverine stops him. X-Force takes the body of Fantomex and destroys the Brotherhood's base as they leave.
