Walt Kelly's Fairy Tales #[nn]
In "Thumbelisa," Walt Kelly's beloved folklore returns with a twist, as Rufus Redfox spins a tall tale about the Boogly Bird to explain his grape theft—only to find his own clever scam backfires in the most literal way. Written by Gaylord Du Bois and brought to life with Kelly’s signature art and George Kerr’s inks, this 2015 IDW tale blends whimsy and consequence in a story where a red fox’s pride leads to a permanent mark. The cover, also by Walt Kelly, captures the moment of mischief with his unmistakable style.
