Wambi, Jungle Boy #1

Wambi the Jungle Boy and his animal friends face multiple dangers in the jungle, including a hungry lion and a crocodile, while Wambi uses his resourcefulness and courage to survive. The story progresses to involve a crashed ship in the jungle, with Wambi assisting survivors including a character named Jim and a girl named Lia, while his elephant friend Tawn helps pull the wreckage clear. Later, Wambi recounts his origin story to Sahib, explaining how he was captured by Jamru the deer and led to Rajah's palace. In another adventure, "Wambi and the Great Chief's Son," Wambi and his friend Rika encounter a poisonous Yarmu bird that Rika swallows, requiring Wambi to take him to the village for treatment.
