In "Mad Journey!", a scientist named Rodney Simon ventures to Venus after developing a revolutionary fuel that propels his rocket beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Once crash-landed, he’s mistaken for a madman by the planet’s humanoid inhabitants, who imprison him in a mental asylum.
