A spaceship crashes near a farm and a green slime like object comes out and approaches the farmer, his son, and a farmhand. It enters the body of a dog causing it to turn green. When the dog attacks the son, the farmer has no choice but to shoot it. This causes the lifeform to enter a mare and the same thing occurs. When the alien realizes that the green colouring gives it away, it makes the family colorblind. Not knowing which one of the family has been infected, the son uses a red filter on his camera and photographs them. This exposes the daughter as the host.
