Weird Fantasy #6
"Space-Warp" in Weird Fantasy #6 (1951) delivers a delightfully absurd sci-fi twist on workplace frustration, as young inventor Willy builds a dimension translator to bring his boss, Mr. Bankbuck, to life—just so he can take a few well-deserved swings. Written, drawn, and colored by Harvey Kurtzman, with inks by Kurtzman and letters by Ben Oda, the story pulses with the manic energy and sharp wit that defined EC’s golden age. The cover by Al Feldstein captures the surreal mood perfectly, a visual tease of the madness within.
