Timid Luther ist in die schöne Miss Dennis verliebt, aber sie weiß nicht einmal, dass er existiert. In der Bibliothek findet er ein Buch über schwarzer Magie. Es enthält ein Rezept für einen Liebestrank, das Heilmittel für Luthers Kummer! Nachdem er an einer Katze experimentiert hat, mischt Luther den Trank in den Tee von Miss Dennis. Es scheint nicht zu funktionieren, und ein verzweifelter Luther liest das Rezept noch mal. Dabei stellt sich heraus, dass der Trank nicht mit Tee gemischt werden sollte; es könnte schreckliche Ergebnisse verursachen.
