Peter returns from the House of M reality and his wife and son also cross over into the "real" world. Unfortunately, Peter is already married to Mary Jane and she isn't even close to amused to find that Peter was shacking up with Gwen, even in an alternate universe. Peter tries to navigate the pitfalls of having two families and the stress unbalances him causing him to revert to his other House of M persona, the Green Goblin. The Goblin attacks Mary Jane but Peter comes to his senses in time to sacrifice his life for hers when she is about to be cut down by a goblin glider.
