When the school principal calls an exterminator to deal with a reported mouse infestation, Wilbur uses the situation to his advantage, claiming he has the rodent problem under control with cats, though his solution creates further bedlam. In a subplot, Wilbur's father Mr. Wilkin receives a radio as a birthday gift, leading to a confrontation where Wilbur's antics inadvertently damage the radio and result in physical comedy between father and son, with Mr. Wilkin eventually offering Wilbur a foot yacht prize if he can help name it "Bingo's First."
