Wilbur Comics #23 is an Archie Magazine anthology featuring two main stories. The cover story follows Wilbur on a bicycle ride in the rain with Laurie, where he misrepresents the "ride" as a car, leading to a humorous misunderstanding. The interior pages feature "Food for Thought," a Wilbur story by Ray Gill in which Wilbur attempts to sell cookbooks door-to-door, demonstrating salesmanship skills while his friend Red grows increasingly frustrated with the endeavor. Additional stories visible include a comedic tale involving characters named Dopey Knapp, Monty, and Hot Shot competing over a date with Wilbur, culminating in a car accident.
