The mercenary group Poison, led by Colonel Marina Maru, attacks the Picket, killing all agents onsite, under orders from Veronica Cale. Then they go after Steve and Diana who are trapped on an island that they had thought had been Themyscira. Diana is left in a trance-like state after the lies about her past have been exposed, leaving Steve to fight off the mercenaries to save both of them.
