World's Finest Comics #24
In "Impossible but True!", a radio host named Olga Olmstead finds herself in a dangerous game of deception when she uses her show to secretly pass coded warnings about crimes, all to protect her father. With art by Joe Shuster—both penciling and inking—and lettering by Ira Schnapp, this 1946 tale blends wartime intrigue with the quiet heroism of an ordinary woman caught in extraordinary circumstances. The cover, by Jack Burnley and Charles Paris, captures the tension of a broadcast under pressure.
