“Pixie: Strikes Back! Part Four”

In "Pixie: Strikes Back! Part Four," the X-Men face off against Saturnine's demons in a desperate bid to free Pixie from his grip, but she’s more focused on settling old scores with her step-sisters, Regan and Martinique. When her siblings and Emma are bested, Pixie draws a soul sword from her chest—its magic fueled by her mother’s fairy essence—and tricks Saturnine into his own demise with a clever ruse. Written by Kathryn Immonen and brought to life with bold, expressive art by Sara Pichelli, this pivotal issue reveals Pixie’s true father was Jason Wyngarde, the original Mastermind, before her mother vanishes once more into the shadows. The cover, by Stuart Immonen, captures the moment of confrontation with striking intensity.

The X-Men battle Saturnine's demons in order to free Pixie from his influence. Pixie, however, is too busy cat fighting with her step-sisters, Regan and Martinique, to be of much help. After her siblings (and Emma) get slapped down, Pixie pulls a soul sword from her chest and her mother infuses it with fairy magic. Pixie then presents the magic sword to Saturnine and he kills himself trying to put it into his own chest (it was a fake soul sword). Pixie's mother insists that her real father was Jason Wyngarde, the original Mastermind, before leaving her once again in the X-Men's care.
