Freddy and his pal Stuff decide to visit the famous European actress Olga Slinkova at the theater, hoping to meet her and show off Stuff's costume from a local play—partly as an excuse to impress the girls who've gone to see her. When they finally catch up with Miss Slinkova backstage, her reaction to Stuff's appearance is less than warm, but the boys manage to get her autograph before she leaves town. The next day, the girls are amazed to discover that Olga Slinkova's signature hairdo bears an uncanny resemblance to Stuff's own hair, and soon the whole town is trying to copy the "new style."
