Fire Chief

Hunk, a young boy with a dinosaur that doubles as a fire extinguisher, is named Fire Chief after his dino puts out a blaze with a single squirt. When a new fire breaks out, he and his friend Cecil race to respond—only to discover the flames are coming from Hunk’s own cave, where his mother has been roasting a meal. The story follows their chaotic, water-soaked efforts to help, with plenty of splashing, shouting, and laughter.

Cecil visits Charlatan's Gym, eager to gain big muscles fast, only to be tricked into a series of exhausting and absurd exercises—lifting weights, doing calisthenics, enduring a steam bath and massage—before being handed a pile of bones instead. When he protests, the gym owner insists he’s delivered exactly what was promised, leaving Cecil bewildered and the bones guarded by a surprisingly fierce tiger.

The Patient!
