Captain Flight Comics

Published by Four Star Publications from 1944 to 1947, Captain Flight Comics ran for 11 issues as a wartime-era adventure title. The series featured the work of artists Alex Blum (often signing as Frank Stearns), Al Plastino, and Bill Boynansky, with writing credits shared by Frank Stearns, Bill Boynansky, and Frank Stevens. Though short-lived, it captures the patriotic, pulp-infused energy of mid-1940s comics, showcasing the early styles of creators who would go on to define the medium.
