Fantastic Adventures
I. W. Publishing / Super Comics · 1963–1964 · 7 issues
About the series
A short-lived 1960s science-fiction anthology from I. W. Publishing, Fantastic Adventures ran for seven issues, adapting classic stories by H. G. Wells alongside original tales from Ruth Roche. The series was visually defined by the work of artists E. G. Letkeman, George Peltz, and Jay Disbrow, who brought a pulpy, imaginative energy to each issue. While it didn't break new ground, it offered a compact, entertaining glimpse into the kind of genre storytelling that thrived on newsstands during the early Silver Age.
