Good Girl Art Quarterly

About the series
From 1990 to 1994, AC Comics published Good Girl Art Quarterly, a 15-issue series celebrating the pin-up and adventure style of classic "good girl" comic art. Edited and primarily written by Mark Heike, with art from Heike, Matt Baker, and Chris Allen, the title revived a nostalgic, glamorous aesthetic. Each issue spotlighted a rotating cast of heroines and characters—including Claudette Meyler, She-Cat, Mara, Stardust, Phantom Lady, and Ms. Victory—in standalone stories and covers. It stands as a dedicated tribute to the golden age of cheesecake illustration, preserving a specific, stylized corner of comic history.
