About the series
In the early 1960s, Archie Comics launched this charming, all-ages series that reimagined the Riverdale gang as grade-schoolers, starring Little Archie Andrews alongside his pint-sized pals Little Betty, Little Veronica, Little Jughead, and Li'l Jinx. Running 35 issues from 1961 to 1969, the book was defined by the warm, whimsical storytelling and clean cartooning of Bob Bolling and Dexter Taylor, who together wrote and drew most of the series. It stands as a beloved, lighter-hearted companion to the main Archie line, capturing the innocent mischief of childhood with a timeless sense of fun.
