About the series
The Web (1991–1992) was a short-lived DC series starring a new costumed hero in the publisher's post-Crisis, pre-New 52 era. Written primarily by Len Strazewski, Paul Kupperberg, and Mark McKenna, with artwork by Tom Artis, Hoang Nguyen, and Barry Horne, the book explored the adventures of a vigilante armed with high-tech web-spinning gear. Its 14-issue run offered a gritty, street-level take on a classic pulp archetype, making it a minor but intriguing footnote in DC's early-1990s lineup.
