From 1983 to 1989, Editions Lug published X-Men, Les étranges, a French-language series collecting the classic Chris Claremont era of the X-Men across 13 issues. Featuring the iconic art of John Romita Jr., Paul Smith, and Walter Simonson, the series brought together the core team of Kurt Wagner, Logan, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Diablo, and Ororo Munroe. It served as a key entry point for French readers into the mutant saga during one of its most celebrated runs.
