Zoot Comics

During its brief, 18-issue run from 1946 to 1948, Fox Publications' Zoot Comics was a lively showcase for the studio's adventure and humor features, most notably the jungle queen Rulah and the resourceful Jane Dodge. The series is particularly remembered for the striking artwork of Matt Baker, whose dynamic, expressive style—often produced through the Iger Shop—elevated these tales, alongside contributions from Frank Little and writers using the pseudonyms Clem Drew and Jack Lane.
