A creature of the Ultimate Marvel Universe, Montana made his debut in 2001 courtesy of the legendary team of Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, stepping onto the page of Ultimate Spider-Man #9 as part of that line's bold, modernized reimagining of classic Marvel menace. Over a run spanning two decades, this villain carved out a niche in Marvel's Ultimate continuity, sharing the page with the wall-crawler himself as well as fellow troublemakers like Fancy Dan and Bruno Sanchez.
