Dean Ormston

Dean Ormston is a British comic book artist best known for his moody, atmospheric work on DC’s Vertigo imprint and the long-running anthology *2000 AD*. Born in the United Kingdom, he entered the industry in the early 1990s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile storyteller. His most recognized contributions include co-creating the acclaimed series *Bodies* with writer Si Spencer, and serving as the primary artist on *Lucifer* and *Books of Magick: Life During Wartime*. Ormston’s style—marked by shadowy linework and expressive, often grotesque character designs—became a signature of the Vertigo line.
